For those traveling from further away, there’s a regional detour available that incorporates Highways 101, 237, Montague Expressway, Lawrence Expressway, and North 1st Street. Pedestrians should also be aware that sidewalk access along Tasman Drive adjacent to the stadium is restricted, with authorities recommending the use of VTA Light Rail services between the Great America and Lick Mill stations to avoid lengthy detours. Additionally, the San Tomas Aquino Creek Trail, which runs in front of the stadium, is closed to both pedestrians and cyclists until Tuesday.
On game day, Sunday, Great America Parkway will see further restrictions, closing between Patrick Henry Drive and Bunker Hill Lane. Moreover, the Tasman Drive shutdown will extend to Old Ironsides Drive and Lick Mill Boulevard. Only credentialed personnel and ticketholders will have limited access to Tasman Drive between the Convention Center and Calle Del Sol in the lead-up to the event. In San Francisco, the Municipal Transportation Agency has announced a series of road closures that will affect multiple streets through Tuesday, February 10, leading up to the big game. These include:
- Howard Street, from 3rd to 4th Streets, and parts of the southernmost lane and parking area between Hawthorne and 3rd Streets.
- Folsom Street's northernmost travel lane and parking lane between Mabini and 3rd Streets.
- 3rd Street will have closures affecting its two westernmost lanes between Harrison and Stevenson Streets, alongside similar restrictions on 4th Street.
